I envy dead things, an animal’s carcass, split open and bloody on the side of the road, wilted flowers in a jar of cloudy water, and people, pale corpses stretched out flat on their backs in silk-lined coffins. I’m especially jealous of dead people.

They say life is short. I fucking disagree. It’s all a matter of who you are while you’re alive because even the shortest life is inherently too long if you’re like me. I’d spill blood to be one of those people who think life is fucking short.

      You are absolutely right! And this little character wants to be remembered. I don't want to give the story away, but his life has been so bad thus far that he's desperate for approval. Whatever comes his way is something he'll grab hold of, even if it comes from the darkness… Thank you again for spending your reading time here with me. I appreciate it more than you know. LL
